It is also a type of rubber tube, oil-resistant and heat-resistant. Rubber tubes have many applications due to different types of rubber. Common rubber tube materials include EPDM, CR, VMQ, FKM, IIR, ACM, AEM, etc. Common structures include single-layer, double-layer, multi-layer, reinforced, and non-reinforced.
The biggest feature of silicone tubes is their temperature resistance, ranging from -60 degrees to 250 degrees, but they are very expensive. PVC is commonly used as an ordinary water pipe, sensitive to temperature, cheap, and has an odor, suitable for general working environments with no special requirements for hoses. Pressure-resistant silicone tubes have decent pressure resistance, while PVC is average, depending on wall thickness and diameter. These are the differences between silicone tubes and PVC pipes.
